Why are your prices so low?
We work very hard to only offer quality instruments at discounted prices. Because of our volume and low overhead, we can offer great prices. You won't find these prices at your local music store!

Are your instruments new?
All instruments are NEW, NEVER USED unless otherwise noted in the title / description. Occasionally we will offer a few used instruments. If an instrument is used, the item description will state "used" and offer a detailed description of the instrument and warranty.

I am trying to order through the web site but I am having a problem so how can I order?
Sometimes with certain computer systems, the shopping cart will not allow you to complete the order. If this happens, please give me a call to place your order over the phone at 888-677-4771 (Toll Free) or 704-321-4430.

I do not like to order over the Internet, can I order over the phone?

What are your payment options?
All of our prices are shown in US Dollars. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, PAYPAL, cashiers checks, money orders and cash for orders that are picked up from our store.

Can we visit your physical store to see the instruments?
Yes, most of our instruments are available in our store. Please call in advance to be sure that we have what you are interested in before you visit.

Do you sell instruments on E-bay?
Yes, we offer some of our instruments on E-bay so the wonderful E-bay community can also take advantage of our great products and services. No matter where you purchase from CheapMusicalInstruments.com, you will receive great new instruments at discounted prices. In addition, you will receive our first class customer service.

Are your products in stock?
Most items are in stock and shipped the next business day. If it is necessary for us to order some of your items, we will contact you via email with the estimated ship date. If we must order an item for you, it will usually ship to you within 5 working days. If you order an item that can not be shipped to you within 5 working days, we will gladly refund your money.

Can I cancel my order before it is shipped?
Yes, if you need to cancel your order before it is shipped, simply email or call us at 888-677-4771 (Toll Free) or 704-321-4430 and we will gladly cancel your order.

Can I return my merchandise?
All new and used merchandise (other than books / lessons / opened care kits) may be returned under our 10-day money back guarantee (less shipping / handling) as long as the merchandise is still in new condition and all materials are included.

Some instruments (if noted in their product description) may be returned under our 30-day money back guarantee (less shipping / handling) as long as the instrument is still in new condition and all materials are included.

To return your order you must email or call us to receive a return authorization number.  This return authorization number must be included on your shipping label.  Once we receive and check your returned merchandise, we will gladly refund your money, less the shipping / handling fees.
Exceptions: Books / lessons may not be returned. Care kits may not be returned if opened.

Does your merchandise include the manufacturers warranty?
All new items include the original manufacturers warranty. Warranties range from 60 days to 10 years. If your instrument includes a warranty card (many do not), please be sure to return the card to the manufacturer within the allotted time. Used instruments will list the warranty in the item description.

Do you charge sales tax?
If you are ordering from North Carolina, sales tax will be added to your order.

Will you ship to other countries?
We will ship via UPS to any location in the US. Orders may also be shipped to Canada and APO addresses via the US Postal Service. If you live in another country, please send us an email with your interest and we will email you a price.

How much does it cost to ship to an APO address?
We can only ship to an APO address via the US Postal Service. The shopping cart will not figure the shipping rate correctly for APO addresses. Your shipping cost will be around $ 20.00 more that figured by the system. Once we receive your order, we will email you with the exact shipping cost for approval.

Can you ship to Alaska?
We can ship to Alaska but you must select "UPS 2nd Day Air" during the checkout process.

How can I estimate what my shipping cost will be?
Go to the checkout portion of the shopping cart and the different shipping options will be listed along with the price of each.

Is online ordering secure?
Yes, CheapMusicalInstruments.com uses technology called SSL or Secure Socket Layer to ensure the highest level of security for your online transactions. All sensitive information is encrypted for transfer to our servers. You order can not be intercepted or decrypted because the security key only resides on our servers. Also, if you prefer to order via the phone, please call us to place your order.

Is my personal information private?
Any information that you supply us is completely confidential. You may be added to our mailing list but your information can be removed at anytime per your request. In addition, we will never supply any other vendor or company with your personal information.

What if I lost my password?
When you placed your first order with us we created a customer record with your billing and shipping information. At that time you entered a password. If you enter the correct email address and password during any future order, your prior information will be displayed. If you lose your password, simply click on the "Forgot Your Password" link on the login screen and an email will be sent to you with your password.

Can I see comments from your prior customers?
